News - Predict breast cancer tool release

We have just launched our new front-end to the NHS Predict site for women who have had breast cancer surgery: http://www.predict.nhs.uk/ The site is used regularly 20,000 times per month worldwide by oncologists to help guide treatment options for individual women. However, our new front end is designed to help communicate this same information to the patients, so that doctors can more easily share the decision-making with them. We've worked alongside patients, the public and healthcare professionals to make a site that is useful and easily understood for all.

We will be using the same visualisations and development process to produce similar sites for prostate cancer, for transplant surgery patients and hopefully many other medical scenarios.

Here's one example displayed in this case as a set of survival curves.
